WTC Freestyle/Greco 2026

WTC Freestyle & Greco Season Registration

Wichita Training Center is excited to begin our 2026 Freestyle & Greco-Roman (Freco) season.
This is our spring/summer competition phase focused on national-level development, mat awareness, pace, and high-level positioning.
We operate in two phases this season to allow athletes to choose their competitive commitment level.

Season Structure

Phase 1 – To Freco State

March 30 – May 2
Designed for athletes competing through Freco State.
Focus: Skill development, match reps, State preparation
Cost: $200

Phase 2 – Extended Season (Advanced Only)

March 30 – End of June
For committed and advanced athletes preparing for:
Regional events
National events
Fargo
Includes full Phase 1 + extended training
Cost: $350

Practice Schedule

Practice Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
(Wednesday nights reserved for RTC training)

Maize South High School

HS Girls: 6:00 – 7:30 PM
HS Boys: 7:30 – 9:00 PM

Eisenhower Middle School

Beginner 12U: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Advanced 12U: 7:00 – 8:30 PM

Program Focus

Freestyle & Greco season is designed to:
Increase offensive confidence
Improve mat awareness
Develop high-level positioning
Build toughness for Folkstyle season
Prepare serious athletes for national-level competition

Commitment Expectations

Freco season requires:
Consistent attendance
Intentional effort
Competitive mindset
Athletes choosing the extended season are expected to maintain a higher standard of training and competition commitment.
